International Conference on Salvage, 1989

The International Conference on Salvage, 1989, was convened for the purpose of establishing uniform

international rules regarding salvage operations and resulted in the adoption of the International Convention on Salvage, 1989. Included in this publication are:

−− Final Act of the Conference;

−− International Convention on Salvage, (Salvage) 1989;

−− Resolution requesting the amendment of the York-Antwerp Rules, 1974;

−− Resolution on international co-operation for the implementation of the International Convention on

Salvage, 1989.
